Industry Specific ComplianceThe Industries & Commerce Department, Govt. of Haryana on September 09, 2026, issued the Haryana EV for Cargo Logistics Scheme.

The following has been stated:

• The scheme provides 15% financial assistance, up to ₹5 lakh per vehicle, on the ex-showroom cost of a new EV cargo truck or commercial cargo EV (3/4-wheelers), with a load-bearing capacity of 700 kg to 10,000 kg, limited to one vehicle per MSME. 

• The scheme applies to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises operating in Haryana, with vehicles purchased on or after April 01, 2026, subject to purchase from an authorised Haryana dealer and registration in Haryana in the name of the MSME. Benefits are available on a first-applied-first-served basis to the first 250 eligible MSMEs or until budget availability, and applications shall generally be filed within three months of purchase or three months from notification, whichever is later. 

• The vehicle shall be used for the MSME’s own logistics requirements; logistics/transport businesses and second-hand vehicles are excluded, and the applicant cannot claim similar assistance under FAME or another Central/State scheme. 

• The scheme is notified for three years, or until validity of the RAMP Programme/target is achieved, whichever is later, with claims sanctioned by the HOD, Directorate of MSME, Haryana. False claims may result in refund with 12% compound interest, legal action, debarment from State incentives and public procurement, and recovery as arrears of land revenue.
